Carlos M. Amor was born and raised in Miami, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville and his Juris Doctorate at Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee. He has handled a wide variety of Real Estate matters, civil litigation, foreclosure and bankruptcy cases across the State of Florida—real estate transactions and closings, residential and commercial foreclosure, short sales, bankruptcy, and civil litigation.

The first foreclosure case was filed against me and my family’s home in 2008 and had been dismissed-refiled two times since then. When I received a notice in the mail in 2018 that said the bank was going to re-open my old foreclosure case I decided to take the initiative and hire an attorney before the foreclosure was filed and attempt to negotiate the debt. The total debt on my property at that point was $1.63 million dollars. Not only was he able to negotiate the lien with the new lender but Carlos was able to reduce the total balance down to $625K! That was a reduction of over $1 million dollars and comes out to 38% of the total debt previously owed. Even though I had terrible credit they also helped me obtain a loan to pay off the old mortgage and the reduced the amount.
